Job Responsibilities
As an Auto Sales Consultant you will work with customers online and in person. You will connect with customers by answering questions and setting appointments. With appointments and walk-ins, you will spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options.
Responsibilities of the Sales Consultant role include:
oFollowing up with customers
oReturning emails and voicemails
oTest driving vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features
oCompleting quotes and explaining financing options
oFollowing up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction
oGenerating leads through existing customer base and community networking
As an Auto Sales Consultant you must be determined to learn and grow in an entry level position. Ideal candidates are natural negotiators with excellent communication and presentation skills. You must have an excellent professional appearance and be motivated to help people.
Requirements of the Sales Consultant role include:
oCareer-Orientated Individual
oPrior sales experience or customer service experience of any kind, preferred but not required
oReside Within 30 Miles of Clinton, IA
oMust pass pre-employment background investigation and drug screen
oValid Driver's License
oClean driving record
oOutgoing personality with expertise in relationship building
oComputer software and internet proficiency
oExcellent verbal/written communication
oCollege Education Preferable/Not Mandatory
