Job Description
As a key member of the plant leadership team, lead day-to-day operations and drive long term vision of operational strategies for the Clinton IA, world-scale, wet corn milling plant. Roughly half of the eight department production superintendents report to this position. The plant is staffed by 775 employees and a sizeable contract work force. Position is responsible for leading in a manner that results in a cohesive, focused, positive climate to achieve organizational goals, including but not limited to safe operations and production of high quality products that provide value to customers and a return to shareholders as well as compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. Manage areas of responsibility in keeping with established policies, procedures and ADM priorities. Oversee grooming and development of technical and leadership capability and manage capital projects.
Requirements
BS/BA in Engineering or related field is preferred

years of production and production management experience in a complex wet corn milling operation
Safety values clearly evidenced in previous roles.
Strong operating technical skills demonstrated through track record of operational excellence and problem solving
Excellent leadership ability, communication, planning and organizational skills
Ability to strengthen the plant culture and lead change
High energy level and clear customer focus emphasis
Proven track record as a team player - ability to develop and maintain relationships to enable achievement of results over time
Strong understanding of process equipment
Results focus
Ability to spend long periods in the plant to observe plant and equipment. Ability to walk long distances, climb stairs and ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
