Summary
We are currently seeking a Day Porter/Custodian to support our client location in Clinton, IA. This position will be responsible forperforming routine cleaning of internal space and specific exterior areas.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
l Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed
l Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas
l Performs all cleaning assignments in accordance with UGL Services approved procedures
l Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition, and notifies the Account Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary
l Works safely at all times and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area
l Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed
l Meets all client and UGL Services quality expectations in assigned tasks
l Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed
l Adheres to proper security procedures
l Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the client
l Performs other cleaning-related duties as required
REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):
l Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team
l Ability to use cleaning tools
l Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance
Performs restroom procedures
Performs floor care proceduresEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
