JOB DUTIES:
Serve as resource to all employees. Provide superb employee customer service. Be available and assist employees as needed in answering questions, providing resources and helping to resolve issues that arise.
Assist in recordkeeping, maintaining Human Resources records and databases, employee files, medical files, SAP, C-Cure, and Human Resources intranet web site. Keep records accurate and up to date.
Provide clerical support for Training Coordinator.
Lead Employee Activities Committee and Wellness efforts. Coordinate, organize and assist plant company functions, such as Company Picnic, PetCare Pride Day, Springfest, Children s Christmas Party, Health Screening, Flu Vaccinations. Coordinate flowers, food and baby baskets for appropriate events.
Coordinate United Way drive for the plant.
Coordinate Service Anniversary Awards program.
Assist with plant communications.
Assist in administering hourly attendance program. Track occurrences and disciplinary actions. Maintain attendance records and discipline databases.
Assist with the recruitment process, updating job descriptions, New Employee Orientation, and employee on-boarding.
Serve as a back-up to Senior Human Resources Coordinator.
Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
BASIC
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. AA Degree or secretarial certificate preferred.
Experience: Two years clerical or secretarial experience.
Skills: Computer proficient. Good communication skills. Must work well with others.
