Ingredient Specialist

Job Duties:
Administers all key check points for incoming ingredients, maintains chemical records of all checks, and assures compliance with quality specifications.
Train and continuously update the Material Handling operators in the proper methods of the sampling and quality testing. Train and continuously update the training of the lab analysts for ingredient specification and testing changes.
Audit activities associated with the above noted techniques and methods to ensure compliance and to detect areas where retraining is required.
Perform required chemical and physical analysis in an accurate and timely manner.
Perform hand add inventory Monday - Friday.
Must be able to work from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
Maintain updated ingredient specifications in GPMQ, keep current and in compliance.

Basic
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; AA Degree or equivalent preferred
Previous QA Lab experience preferred.
